I often look at life as a treasure hunt. Sometimes we know what we’re looking for, other times we don’t. But if we keep our eyes and mind open, we will collect various valuables along the way. My career has been its own unique treasure hunt. I knew I was looking for a degree in psychology and a practice in counseling. And those came along my path sure enough. But what I didn’t know was that the gems of spiritual truth and awakening were also being placed on my path, just waiting for me to find them. With an open mind, came an open heart.
